Cats are not small dogs. They do everything their own way. They have different needs, different body language, and a different metabolism. They need different medications and different handling. They don't like noise or smells. Their owners often have different wishes than dog owners and, like their pets, are easily stressed by the presence of intrusive dogs. A cat practice is quiet, knows exactly what pet parents and their beloved pets want, and can respond to their needs. A cat practice has only cat-loving staff with a gentle touch. In addition, medical knowledge about cats is literally exploding, so in order to keep up to date as a veterinarian, it makes sense to limit yourself to one species.

The special demands of cats and their owners on a veterinary practice should be met optimally. The Katzen-Praxis.ch Dr. L. Wohlgroth in Horgen ZH therefore exclusively cares for felids. The furnishing of the rooms, the medication, the handling and the further training of the team is completely geared towards cats. We are proud to offer the first cat practice in Switzerland!
