Why a cat practice?

Cats are not small dogs. They do everything in their own way. They have different demands, different body language and metabolism. They need different medication and handling. They do not like noise and smells at all. Their owners often have different desires than dog owners and, like their foster pets, are easily stressed by the presence of barking dogs. A cat practice is quiet, knows the wishes of the petparents and their furbabies and can respond to them. A cat practice has exclusively cat-loving staff which touch the patients delicately. In addition, the medical knowledge about cats is exploding, to be able to keep up as a veterinarian on the latest state of the art, it makes sense to limit yourself to one type of animal.

The special demands of cats and their owners on a veterinary practice should be met optimally. The Katzen-Praxis.ch Dr. L. Wohlgroth in Horgen ZH therefore exclusively cares for felids. The furnishing of the rooms, the medication, the handling and the further training of the team is completely geared towards cats. We are proud to offer the first cat practice in Switzerland!
